Monday, June 29 – Monday, August 3

Join the North Adams Public Library for a summer filled with fantasy, adventure, and discovery! This year we are using an online summer reading tool called Beanstack. Readers of all ages can register for an account through the Beanstack website or the mobile app starting June 22nd. On Monday, June 29th you can begin logging days read. Individual children, teens, adults, families, and even groups or classrooms can register to participate. Check this website and social media for a link to the Beanstack site on June 22nd.

Childrens2Children Ages 3 – 11

On Beanstack, log every day you read between Monday, June 29 and Monday, August 3 to earn virtual badges and tickets to enter into the end of the summer prize drawing.

Every 5 days of reading will earn a virtual badge and virtual ticket to enter the end of the summer prize drawing. You can earn a virtual raffle ticket on day 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, & 30 days of reading. Kids who log at least 25 days of reading between June 29th and August 3rd complete the program. All children who participate in summer reading in some way will win a free book at the end of the summer. Visit our Events page for information about Children’s Events this summer!


 

Teens2Teens Ages 12 – 17

Use Beanstack to earn virtual badges when you log your reading and summer activities. Badges make you eligible to enter a weekly prize drawing. You can read books or graphic novels, or listen to audiobooks, everything counts!

Every 5 days of reading will earn a virtual badge and a chance to win the weekly prize drawing. Teens who log reading at least 25 days between June 29th and August 3rd complete the program. You can also complete activities and book reviews for more entries into the weekly drawing.

Prizes include free new books and gift cards for tacos, pizza, ice cream, and hot dogs. The more you read and do this summer, the more chances you have to win prizes. Visit our Events page for information about Teen Events this summer!


 

Adult2Adults Age 18 and Older

Use Beanstack to earn virtual badges when you log your reading and summer activities. Badges make you eligible to enter a weekly prize drawing. You can read books or graphic novels, or listen to audiobooks, everything counts!

Every 5 days of reading will earn a virtual badge and a chance to win the weekly prize drawing. Adults who log reading at least 25 days between June 29th and August 3rd complete the program. You can also complete activities and book reviews for more entries into the weekly drawing. Prizes for the weekly drawing include gift certificates from area businesses.
