Ongoing Programs:

Knitting & Crochet Circle

The Knitting & Crochet Circle meets every Monday evening at 6 in the Community LivingRoom of the Library. Anyone who knits and/or crochets, or who wishes to learn to knit or crochet, is welcome to come, weekly or less frequently as fits his or her life. The circle welcomes everyone regardless of experience, gender or age. This is a PEARLs-sponsored progam, open to the entire community.

Writers' Corner

Is fiction or poetry you passion? Do you enjoy working on journals or non-fiction? Is writing for children your goal? Join with other aspiring authors for these informal chats and critiques. The Writers' Corner will resume meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6 p.m. beginning Sept. 13.

This page is dedicated to the P.E.A.R.L.s* in our community. Its purpose is to offer resources for all adults, but particularly those older community members facing transitions in their lives, such as retirement, loss of a partner, or a change in financial or medical status. We also plan to inform adults of opportunities for mental stimulation, involvement in the community, and personal growth -- with a little fun thrown in.
