Friends seek book donations

Spring is here and the Friends are starting to collect gently used books for their annual fall sale. We ask that you donate books, DVDs, and CDs in good condition that would be suitable for resale. Please no textbooks, condensed books, or moldy books. Puzzles and games in good condition are fine but we are no longer selling VHS or cassette tapes. Thank you for supporting your local library with donations. booksale

MCLA students create app for historic North Adams

You can now download an app from  iTunes or Google Play for your phones or tablets that leads you on a grand tour of historic North Adams. We created a link under the Reference department tab that will take you to the site as well. Under the supervision of Professors Ely Janis and Amanda Kleintop, students used a grant from Mass Humanities to create an interactive map of the City with Curatescape. It’s great fun. Check it out!
