Local artist and health enthusiast, Kathy Carbin will be facilitating a new book club that examines the relationship between diet and health. Titled “What am I Going to Eat?”, the group will meet on the last Wednesday in January and February at 2 p.m. at the library. Over the next several months the group will discuss some of the latest books on creating a healthy eating plan with foods that taste good, make you feel good and prevent disease. The first book to be discussed will be “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan, an entertaining primer on the unhealthy American diet. The second book in the series will be “The Paleo Cure” by Chris Kresser. Books will be available at the library.
